About 13th Security Battalion
13th Security Battalion is an operationally deployable joint Armed Forces warfare unit with high material and personnel availability that shall be able to operate across the entire conflict spectrum. The battalion's main task is to detect, clarify and counter security-threatening activities in the form of foreign intelligence gathering, crime, terrorism, sabotage and subversion directed against the Armed Forces' prioritized assets.
The battalion operates preventively through security intelligence service and security protection-enhancing measures. Our vision is that 13th Security Battalion breaks the adversary's plausible deniability and creates conditions for the entire Armed Forces to meet every threat and overcome every challenge. We are now recruiting a Combat Commander to 315th Security Platoon
The Security Platoon is part of 13th Security Battalion and operates from F16 in Uppsala. The platoon performs varied tasks within the framework of military security service with a focus on intelligence gathering through troop reconnaissance.
Main work tasks
As quartermaster, you are part of the platoon leadership together with professional officers and soldiers. Your main responsibility is to organize and plan the platoon's materiel service and technical service in relation to both F16 and 13th Security Battalion, and to lead the platoon's materiel service through our deputy group leaders. You may also be included in temporarily assembled combat groups during the execution of security operations. There, tasks may include planning of transport, accommodation and supply at temporary locations through cooperation with neighboring units.
Qualifications
Approved professional officer training
Driving license category B
Armed Forces Physical Test (175 points multitest, 13:30 field test)
Meritorious
Previous service as quartermaster or technical chief within the Armed Forces
Good experience with systems PRIO and LIFT
Experience from national or international operations
Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
Military driving licenses
Personal qualities

The unit is part of the Swedish Air Force and is responsible for the operation and protection of Uppsala airport as well as training conscripts in various positions in the Air Force. The unit also leads the 161st Combat Command and Air Surveillance Battalion which directs fighter aircraft in the air and manages the continuous monitoring of Swedish airspace.
