Employment Terms and Conditions
Schedule: Monday–Friday and every other weekend
Full-time equivalent: 90%
Working hours: approximately 15:30–22:30
Employment type: Permanent with six months probation
Start date: By agreement
Workplace: You will be based at our office in Åkersberga and work within Österåkers Municipality.
Job Responsibilities – What Will You Do?
As a temporary employee with us, you will work in customers' homes with varying tasks based on individual needs:
Personal care – assistance with hygiene, dressing/undressing, and mobility support
Social support & conversation – creating security through presence and good interactions
Daily living assistance – help with meals and light housekeeping tasks
Supervision & safety – identify needs and contribute to safe care
Documentation – document according to care plans
Safety alarm response – quickly respond to urgent needs from customers who have activated their alarms. We work on assignment from Österåkers Municipality and are responsible for both regular home care tasks and handling safety alarms between 07:00–22:30. This means a varied role with both planned and more urgent interventions.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is committed and wants to contribute to safe and professional home care:
Nursing assistant certification (highly desirable) – you have completed approved training, preferably with experience
Good Swedish language skills, spoken and written – you can communicate clearly and document correctly
B-category driver's license (REQUIRED) – you are a confident and experienced driver
Cycling experience (highly desirable) – you feel comfortable traveling between customers by bicycle
Responsible, flexible, and solution-oriented – you take initiative, work independently, and stay calm in different situations while collaborating well with colleagues and treating people with empathy, respect, and understanding
Digitally skilled – you use mobile devices in your daily work
