In this role, you will become an important part of our daily quality work and work closely with production, customers, and suppliers. You will have significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence how quality work develops, while also contributing to ensuring high quality throughout the manufacturing process. The role suits you if you thrive combining an operations-oriented approach with analysis, problem-solving, and improvement work. As a QUALITY ENGINEER, you hold a central role in the quality organization and drive quality matters from start to completion. You work both operatively in the operations and with the structure behind the quality work, where you analyze deviations, identify root causes, and drive efforts to ensure that corrective actions are implemented and followed up. You collaborate closely with production, engineering, and other functions in the organization and are an important contact person on quality matters for both customers and suppliers. The role involves varied work where you have the opportunity to influence work methods, develop processes, and contribute to long-term improvement efforts.
Examples of work tasks:
Handle and drive customer, supplier, and internal deviations
Follow up on quality results and analyze measurement data
Work with root cause analyses using the 8D method
Work with Core Tools and SPC (statistical process control)
Ensure that customer requirements and quality standards are met
Conduct internal audits
Serve as a contact person on quality matters for customers and suppliers
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for someone with experience in quality work or related roles within manufacturing industry who thrives in a role where you combine analysis, structure, and improvement work. You have a natural drive and take responsibility for moving work forward. Through a structured approach, you analyze problems, find underlying causes, and translate your conclusions into concrete improvements. Experience with deviation management and root cause analyses is important in the role. If you have also worked with quality methods such as 8D or similar approaches, that is a merit. A basic understanding of blueprint reading and technical requirements is an advantage, as is experience from the automotive industry or other quality-regulated industries. Since the role involves many contact points, both internally and externally, you need to have good proficiency in Swedish and English.
