We are now seeking a Quality Engineer for our client in Karlshamn who wants to become an important part of the quality organization. ABOUT THE POSITION: In this role, you are responsible for supplier approval as well as approval of raw materials, process aids, and packaging materials. You work to ensure that suppliers and materials meet internal quality requirements as well as applicable legislation and regulatory requirements, particularly within the food industry, but also in areas such as feed, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. You will have many internal contact points and work closely with, among others, procurement, QA, and technical product managers. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for approving suppliers and raw materials, process aids, and packaging materials. Review and evaluate supplier documentation, such as questionnaires, specifications, and declarations. Manage and administer supplier and material approval in internal quality systems. Conduct risk assessments together with procurement, QA, and technical product managers. Ensure that suppliers and materials meet internal quality requirements and regulatory requirements. Contribute to the development and improvement of quality processes related to supplier approval. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: Have experience and knowledge in food safety or other regulated activities. It is not a requirement, but it is advantageous if you have: Understanding of relevant EU legislation and regulatory requirements. Experience with supplier approval, document review, or risk assessments is advantageous. Furthermore, we place great emphasis on personal qualities. ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT: This is a consulting assignment at 80% for 6 months, which means you will be employed by Friday during this period.
