As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of Operations Development and Quality, reporting to Simon Strömbäck. In this role, you'll have a central position in driving and developing improvement initiatives to optimize our operations. You will:
Develop and implement work methods, techniques and processes in line with Billerud's production system
Ensure and develop management systems within quality, energy, environment and food safety
Work with internal and external audits
Assess chemicals/packaging materials from a product safety perspective
Handle customer inquiries
Stay current with applicable regulations and implement them
Work cross-functionally and manage contacts both internally and externally
The position is a permanent, full-time employment with working hours during daytime.

Qualifications
To succeed in the Quality Engineer role, we believe you have:
University education in one of the following areas: chemistry, environment, quality engineering or equivalent competence
Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious if you have:
Experience with management systems, improvement initiatives, audit techniques and product safety
Personal Qualities
We place great importance on your personality. We see that you are organized and can handle multiple parallel tasks, with the ability to independently drive activities according to plan. Your ability to plan and prioritize is crucial for success in the role. At the same time, you are thorough and quality-conscious, which means you see details but always keep the big picture in mind.
