Quality work follows throughout the entire process and therefore becomes an important link between several parts of the organization. AxÖ Consulting is now seeking a Quality Engineer for a consulting assignment at BAE Systems Bofors in Karlskoga. Your Future Challenge As a Quality Engineer, you'll have a broad role working to analyze, monitor, and ensure quality in the business. You'll move between production, procurement, engineering, and suppliers, representing quality in several parts of the process. An important part of the work is to work preventively and identify quality issues early. You'll participate in Production Readiness Reviews (PRR), develop inspection plans for production, and participate in design reviews and procurement preparations. You'll also work with incoming inspections and measures to prevent quality deficiencies from continuing in the flow. You'll also plan and conduct various quality inspections, for example delivery inspections at supplier facilities. The assignment also includes planning and conducting internal audits, performing lessons learned investigations, and feeding back experiences from quality work to the business. When a discrepancy occurs, you have an active role in investigating what happened and following up on the issue. You'll lead failure investigations related to both purchased goods and internal quality deviations and are responsible for supplier complaints. In contact with suppliers, you'll communicate complaints and follow up on root cause analyses and preventive actions, including through 8D reports. You'll also participate in developing technical specifications and quality requirements related to procurement. This is a broad quality role with many contact points and a clear link to both your own production and BAE Systems Bofors' suppliers. Is this the right job for you? We're looking for someone with relevant higher education or who, through many years of experience in quality work, has built up equivalent competence. You have experience working with the ISO 9001 standard. If you have previous experience from production, procurement, or development activities, it's an advantage and gives you a good foundation for the assignment. We also see that you have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
