About the Role Are you passionate about quality issues and want to join us on our journey toward a sustainable future? VB Energi is now seeking a Quality Engineer with Equipment Responsibility to join our headquarters in Ludvika. With us, you'll have the opportunity to work in a broad role close to our operations, working both strategically and operationally with managers and colleagues. From the start of the year, we're bringing field services in-house, which will increase our team to approximately 25 employees. You'll be an important part of this journey and further developing our operations. We're looking for someone who wants to establish a structured approach to quality and recurring inspections of our equipment to ensure safe operation of our facilities. Your Role as Quality Engineer with Equipment Responsibility As our Quality Engineer, you'll work broadly with quality issues and will be the only person within the group with this expertise. You'll work closely with the Health and Safety Specialist, managers, and colleagues. You'll be part of the management team and report directly to VB Energi's CEO. You're responsible for managing and controlling the company's tools, measuring instruments, protective equipment, vehicles, buildings, machinery, and other technical equipment to ensure quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and traceable documentation. The role also includes responsibility for developing, coordinating, and following up on the company's quality work within operations, maintenance, connections, and project activities. Your tasks will include: Coordinate and follow up on testing of tools, measuring instruments, and protective equipment Document and manage inspections Conduct internal audits Assist in investigations related to quality deviations Responsibility for establishing, quality-assuring, implementing, and/or updating control documents, processes, and procedures related to quality work You'll join a workplace characterized by commitment, collaboration, and openness. With us, there are good opportunities for development and training. Qualifications Who Are You? We're seeking someone with several years of experience in broad and independent quality work. You ideally have practical experience and knowledge of using tools and personal protective equipment, as well as inspecting these. You need to be able to switch between practical and administrative work. The role is new, so you have the ability to structure and develop processes and working methods. You further have: Upper secondary education in electrical engineering or with a technical focus Work experience from quality work or the power industry Higher education or vocational training in quality or energy is a merit Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good understanding of English is required Good computer and system skills are a requirement as much of the work is done in various IT systems Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience with management systems, internal control programs, and internal audit is a merit Additional Information What We Offer An opportunity to work in a local energy company that works together for safe and stable operations, thereby contributing to our customers receiving environmentally friendly energy.
