Together, we create the conditions for efficient governance and sustainable development of the municipality's operations. We are now looking for a Quality Controller who wants to contribute to developing and strengthening Norrköping Municipality's systematic quality work. The position is vacant as our current employee is moving on to a new assignment. Your Tasks The Director of Municipal Services office is responsible for systematic quality work at both the municipal-wide level and within the Municipal Council's area of responsibility. The assignment involves leading and coordinating the municipality's overall quality work and contributing to long-term development of the municipality's governance and operations. As a Quality Controller, you will work with Norrköping Municipality's systematic quality work from several perspectives. Your tasks include goal and monitoring work, internal governance and control, as well as external environment and future-oriented matters. All parts are based on the municipality's governance model, which you will help manage and develop. Your primary focus is the Municipal Council's systematic quality work. You serve as administrative support to the Municipal Council in developing assignment plans and internal control plans. You also lead the office's work on operational planning and are responsible for monitoring through annual quality reports. Furthermore, you will work closely with the office's other Quality Controller, who primarily manages the municipality-wide processes. A central part of the work involves collaboration both internally, with offices and companies, and externally, with national and regional actors. The assignment also includes development and improvement work within the municipality's quality management. This could involve implementing Stratsys as IT support for quality management, developing and quality assuring governing documents, or other development initiatives. Depending on the assignment, you may have roles as project manager, process manager, or investigator. We are looking for you who are a business economist or have other academic education in economics that the employer deems relevant for the assignment. You have experience working in a politically governed organization and can navigate between politics and administration. You have good knowledge of municipal governance and preferably previous experience working closely with municipal or administrative leadership. You have experience leading processes and coordinating work where multiple actors are involved. You express yourself very well verbally and in writing, have experience writing investigations and decision-making documents, and can present complex matters clearly and in a target-group appropriate manner. To succeed in the role, you need to have good analytical ability. You can process and analyze complex information, draw relevant conclusions, and convert them into material for different target groups and recipients. As a person, you are structured and responsible. You take initiative, drive your work forward, and have the ability to plan and prioritize even when multiple matters are ongoing simultaneously. At the same time, you have a holistic perspective and see how different parts are connected. The role also places high demands on teamwork ability.
