Quality Assistant with opportunity to develop into a Coordinator role Work area: Quality, work environment, and food production Employment type: Trial period with possibility of permanent employment Scope: Full-time, day shifts Start date: Immediately or by agreement About the job Sanus Glutenfri AB is seeking a thorough, responsible, and development-oriented quality assistant for our operations in Marieholm. The position is primarily focused on quality work within industrial gluten-free food production. The company has already developed a quality management system. Your role will involve helping to maintain, follow up on, and further develop this system in daily operations. Since Sanus Glutenfri AB is a small family business, we need a person who can also assist with adjacent areas, such as HR, work environment, and production support as needed. Focus area: Quality Quality work is the main focus of this position. Work tasks may include: maintaining and developing the company's existing quality management system, working according to IFS Food, the company's internal procedures, and Swedish food legislation receiving suppliers, service personnel, pest control, technicians, and other external visitors following up that procedures are followed during machine maintenance, pest control checks, and other external inspections carrying out self-inspections following up on production's self-inspections checking that documentation is completed correctly and on time handling, following up on, and documenting deviations working with root cause analysis for deviations following up on corrective and preventive measures assisting in maintaining product traceability checking labeling, batch handling, and documentation related to traceability organizing QA documentation and updating registers, working with audit logs and follow-up of corrective measures assisting with internal follow-up before audits and inspections carrying out facility inspections ensuring that hygiene and sanitation checks are performed and documented following up on cleaning procedures and hygiene routines assisting with hygiene training and internal information to staff checking that the company's SOPs, checklists, folders, and instructions are kept up to date helping to prepare materials for external audits, customer audits, or regulatory inspections following up on complaints, internal quality defects, and production deviations compiling simple reports on quality, deviations, hygiene, and self-inspections contributing to improvement work within food safety, hygiene, documentation, and production. HR and work environment The role may also include support within HR and work environment. Work tasks may consist of: providing support in personnel and work environment-related matters assisting with reception of suppliers and external persons reporting accidents, incidents, and risks to David assisting with employment contracts and other work-related agreements checking work hours and simple time records, following up on incorrect or missing time stamps according to company procedures carrying out and checking work environment-related self-inspections assisting with documentation within work environment and personnel procedures helping to document employee conversations, work meetings, and follow-ups as needed assisting in ensuring that staff are aware of the company's procedures and instructions Supporting systematic work environment efforts Production support as needed In this position, you may also need to provide support in production when colleagues are sick, absent, or on vacation. The need typically arises during the first hours of the morning. Production support may include: assisting at the production line helping with packaging helping with labeling and inspection assisting with cleaning and organization supporting production where needed Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: experience in quality work, work environment, HR support, food production, or similar work good ability to work thoroughly and systematically, ability to follow procedures, instructions, and documentation requirements understanding of hygiene and food safety ability to document, follow up on, and report deviations basic computer skills ability to communicate in Swedish and English, good collaboration skills willingness to learn quality management systems, work environment practices, and production. Meritorious experience It is meritorious if you have experience with: food production, gluten-free production, GFSI standards, HACCP, GMP, self-inspections, deviation management, root cause analysis, traceability and batch handling, internal or external audits, document management, work environment practices, HR administration, staff training or onboarding, working according to: Lean, Six Sigma, ISO standards Personal qualities To succeed in this position, you need to be: thorough, structured, responsible, hygiene-conscious, quality-conscious, flexible, self-driven after training, solution-oriented, communicative, unpretentious, stress-resilient, interested in both documentation and practical work, willing to help where the business needs support.
