About the Position This is a parental leave substitution role for approximately 10 months where you will be employed as a consultant through Bravura and work at Nordic Waterproofing. Start is desired in early September. About the Company Nordic Waterproofing AB develops, manufactures, and markets waterproofing products, primarily for low-slope roofs and base products for sloped roof constructions. Products and system details are distributed from the headquarters in Höganäs. They are market leaders in the Swedish market, reaching customers through the well-established brands Mataki and Trebolit. Responsibilities As a Quality and Development Engineer, you will work practically and variedly with both quality, testing, and development. The role can be adapted depending on your experience and background. Examples of work tasks: Participate in and support development and project work throughout the entire development chain Work with documentation and quality efforts related to products and processes Participate in work with environmental-related documentation, such as environmental product declarations (EPD) Conduct tests and analyses of materials and components Work practically in a lab environment with testing, test setups, and evaluation of results Perform production investigations and troubleshooting for quality deviations Compile conclusions, report results, and propose measures Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities Post-secondary engineering education, such as university or civil engineering degree in chemistry, construction, or equivalent work experience Meritorious with experience in environmental declarations or sustainability-related work (EPD) Familiarity with FTIR equipment is advantageous Basic understanding of materials, chemistry, and/or laboratory work Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Meritorious with experience in laboratory work, testing, or quality assurance To thrive in this role, you are curious, driven, and take initiative.
