Quality and Environment Manager

To our factory in Södertälje, we are looking for a Quality and Environment Manager with a clear mandate to influence quality, environment, and continuous improvements. The role combines strategic responsibility with operational implementation and close collaboration with management, production, customers, and external parties. You report to the CEO and drive the work of developing and monitoring management systems that strengthen regulatory compliance and long-term competitiveness. Responsibilities Develop, manage, and further develop the company's quality and environmental management systems. Ensure compliance with legal requirements, sustainability requirements, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and customer-specific requirements. Lead and coordinate internal and external audits. Responsible for deviation management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Monitor quality and environmental goals and report key metrics to management. Serve as contact person for customers, authorities, and certification bodies. Drive, educate, and support the organization in quality, environment, and improvement work. Responsible for identifying, implementing, and monitoring customer and contractual requirements in operations. We are looking for someone who Has documented experience with quality and environmental work in manufacturing industry. Works systematically with process development, risk management, deviation management, and improvement work. Is analytical, solution-oriented, and proactive in change management. Is communicative and has a strong ability to engage and create participation in the organization. Has high integrity and a clear focus on customer and business benefits. Key Competencies Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Risk management, process development, and continuous improvement. Internal auditing, supplier development, and work with customer-specific requirements. Root cause analysis, such as 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa. Project management and change management. Meritorious Experience with quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC. Experience with customer and contractual requirements in the defense industry, such as FAR and DFARS.
