The Land and Development Department is relatively new and was formed through a merger of three units. The department is now working to create common working methods and a strong shared culture. Within the department, the Public Space Project Development unit is responsible for designing and developing public space in our projects. The Development Project Development unit is responsible for landowner and development issues. We are now looking for a Quality, Environment and Construction Site Safety Coordinator who wants to work strategically and operationally within urban development. The unit consists of approximately 10 project managers and construction managers with different backgrounds and experience. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a Quality, Environment and Construction Site Safety Coordinator, you will have a central role in developing, coordinating and monitoring the Urban Development Administration's work in quality, environment and sustainability. You work closely with managers, project managers and employees within the administration and contribute to ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with legal requirements, governing documents and set goals. The work is varied and includes both strategic and operational tasks. You participate in projects at different stages from planning to production and collaborate with both internal functions and external actors such as contractors and consultants. Work duties • Develop, manage and quality assure the municipality's occupational health and safety work in projects in both public spaces and building construction projects. • Monitor, analyze and report on goals, results and key figures related to the environment • Drive and support improvement and development work in the operations within the area • Ensure compliance with legal requirements within quality, environment, sustainability and construction site safety in our projects • Coordinate the Urban Development Administration's environmental work, coordination with the sustainability department and external reporting • Conduct internal controls, risk analyses and investigations • Educate and support managers and employees within the quality, environment and construction site safety area QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have an academic degree (college/university) in Urban Development, Construction and Civil Engineering, Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering, Industrial Economics or similar.
