Quality Manager

Jelgavas sociālo lietu pārvalde, a municipal institution of Jelgava City Municipality, invites applications for a Quality Manager position to cover an employee's absence. Key job responsibilities: Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) at JSLP in accordance with ISO 9001 standard requirements. Ensure internal audit processes are conducted. Organize external audits and monitor and control the correction of non-conformities identified. Monitor and control the implementation of planned improvement actions and evaluate their effectiveness. Make necessary changes to QMS documentation according to established procedures. Ensure the quality manual and processes are kept up to date. Coordinate the identification, development, and documentation of processes. Provide JSLP employees with the latest versions of QMS documents and information on QMS operations and effectiveness. Organize training and other activities to ensure QMS operations. Prepare and compile information for submission to the Management Review meeting. Organize Management Review meetings. Requirements for candidates: First or second cycle higher education, preferably in quality management. State language proficiency at Level C, Stage 2. Work experience in quality management. Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of quality management, ISO 9000 quality standards. Understanding of processes and ability to represent them visually in an easily understandable manner. Desirable understanding of municipal functions in social protection, family support, and public health. Independence in task execution and ability to organize your own work. Excellent communication skills. Very good skills in Microsoft Office applications; desired skills in iGrafx system. Documents to submit: Motivated application. Professional work description (CV).
