No. 41703007038) invites you to join our team as a QUALITY DIRECTOR SIA "Jelgavas pilsētas slimnīca" is seeking a Quality Director who will professionally and purposefully lead and improve the hospital's quality management system, strengthen process and risk management, promote patient safety and healthcare service quality, and make a significant contribution to the hospital's sustainable development. This is an important management position that involves responsibility for implementing, maintaining and improving the hospital's quality management system, coordinating quality and risk management processes, organizing internal and external audits, and collaborating with hospital management and structural units to ensure continuous process improvement and compliance with established requirements. Education and Professional Qualifications: · Higher education in quality management, healthcare, medicine, management sciences, economics or a related field; · Professional development in quality management, process management, internal audit or risk management; · Experience in creating, implementing, maintaining and improving quality management systems; · Experience in planning, organizing and conducting internal audits and inspections of quality management systems; · Understanding of quality management principles and ISO standard requirements, particularly ISO 9001; · Understanding of the specifics of the healthcare sector and regulatory acts governing the operations of healthcare institutions; · Experience in process and risk management, quality metrics analysis and process improvement; · Experience in a leadership position or project and process management will be considered an advantage; · Experience in a healthcare institution or other regulated industry will be considered an advantage. Professional and Management Competencies: · In-depth understanding of quality management system operational principles and continuous improvement approach; · Ability to organize and coordinate quality management system operations, ensuring compliance with external and internal requirements; · Knowledge of quality management system auditing, nonconformity management and corrective action implementation; · Understanding of process management, risk identification, assessment and mitigation; · Ability to analyze quality metrics, identify process improvement opportunities and prepare substantiated recommendations; · Developed analytical and systemic thinking, ability to see connections and make data-driven decisions; · Very good organizational and project management skills; · Ability to coordinate and lead cooperation between various structural units on quality management matters; · Good communication and collaboration skills, including ability to argue your position convincingly and build constructive dialogue; · Ability to manage change and engage employees in process and quality improvement; · Ability to prepare reports, analytical statements and recommendations to hospital management; · Good computer skills and information systems usage skills; · State language knowledge and use to the extent necessary for proper performance of job duties in accordance with legal requirements; · English language knowledge will be considered an advantage, particularly for work with international quality standards, methodological materials and professional literature. MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: · Lead and improve the Hospital's quality management system, ensuring its compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements; · Coordinate the maintenance, accreditation and certification of the quality management system; · Develop and implement quality management objectives in accordance with the Hospital's quality policy and strategic objectives; · Coordinate the development, updating and distribution of quality management documentation; · Lead and improve the Hospital's risk management system; · Organize and oversee internal quality audits, as well as elimination of nonconformities and corrective actions; · Coordinate cooperation with external audit, accreditation and supervisory institution representatives; · Analyze quality metrics and processes, identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to Hospital management; · Participate in the development of healthcare service quality and patient safety systems; · Promote quality culture development and educate Hospital employees on quality, risk management and patient safety issues; · Collaborate with Hospital management and structural unit leaders on quality and process improvement; · Prepare reports, analyses and recommendations for management on matters related to quality management.
