Your Work Tasks The position is placed at the National Unit Against International and Organized Crime with placement in Stockholm. As a qualified case handler, you will experience an eventful day-to-day with varied work tasks. You work independently but also together in a group to ensure that the administrative work functions smoothly. Service is a major part of your daily work, both internally and externally. Work tasks in this role include: providing prosecutors with administrative support, such as work in the criminal case diary, handling archiving and performing general office tasks review, assess and register incoming cases serve as the contact in many contexts and thereby provide good service to both the public and other authorities – primarily via phone and email perform work tasks delegated by the administrative manager prepare cases take special responsibility for the chamber's administrative operations guide and be a discussion partner for colleagues communicate orally and in writing in English. Diarization and archiving are done electronically in our IT system. The day is event-driven and urgent matters can quickly arrive requiring you to make quick decisions and assess what is urgent or not. Your Qualities and Qualifications We are looking for you who have a high school diploma or other education that the employer considers equivalent have skills corresponding to several years of well-documented work with administrative tasks that the Office of the Prosecutor General considers relevant have experience working in an IT environment and with digital tools in administration, telephony, meetings, etc. have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing have good knowledge of English in speech and writing. You should also be thorough, structured and follow the principles and procedures in place be independent and responsible be stress-resilient as the workload can be high at times be stable and have good self-awareness have a collaborative approach and an open attitude towards your surroundings be service-oriented have good communication skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is meritorious to have experience working within the justice system post-secondary education, such as in economics or law About the Employment Due to the nature of the work tasks, work will primarily be conducted in the office. The employment is a temporary position for 12 months. Tests may occur in the recruitment process. The employment is classified as a security position and therefore security clearance with background check will be conducted. The Office of the Prosecutor General is a standby authority.
