Your Tasks The position is located at the National Unit Against International and Organized Crime with office location in Stockholm. As a qualified case handler, you will experience an eventful day-to-day with varied work tasks. You work independently but also together in a team to ensure the administrative work runs smoothly. Service is a major part of your daily work, both internally and externally. Work tasks in this role include: providing prosecutors with administrative support, such as work in the criminal case journal, managing archiving, and performing general office duties reviewing, assessing, and registering incoming cases being the point of contact in many contexts and thus providing good service to both the public and other authorities – primarily via phone and email performing work tasks assigned by the administrative manager preparing cases taking special responsibility for the chamber's administrative operations guiding and being a discussion partner for colleagues communicating orally and in writing in English. Case journaling and archiving are done electronically in our IT system. The day-to-day work is event-driven, and urgent matters can come in quickly, requiring you to make fast decisions and assess what is urgent and what is not. Your Qualities and Qualifications We are looking for someone who has a high school diploma or other education that the employer considers equivalent has skills corresponding to several years of well-documented work with administrative tasks that the Prosecution Authority considers relevant has experience working in an IT environment and with digital tools within administration, telephony, meetings, etc. has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing has good knowledge of English in speech and writing. You should also be thorough, structured, and follow the guidelines and procedures in place be independent and take responsibility be stress-resistant as work load can be high at certain times be stable and have good self-awareness work well collaboratively and have an open approach to those around you be service-oriented have good communication skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is a merit to have experience working within the judicial system post-secondary education, such as in economics or law. About the Position Due to the nature of the work tasks, work will mainly be conducted at the office. The employment is a permanent position with a six-month probation period. Tests may occur in the recruitment process. The position is placed in a security classification and therefore security vetting with record checks will be conducted. The Prosecution Authority is a contingency agency. Upon employment, you may be subject to war placement at the Prosecution Authority.
