Would you like to work broadly within the education sector while also contributing qualified support to operations and management? We are now seeking an administrator for the Leisure, Culture and Education Department in Storuman Municipality with a focus on childcare, but with the opportunity to also work on more qualified assignments concerning the department's responsibilities.
About the Position
As an administrator, you will be a key person in the department's work with administration, lawful authority exercise, and development. The position's main focus is on childcare, where you are responsible for handling cases related to, for example:
childcare placements
fees and invoicing
income information and fee verification
queue management and communication with guardians
substitute recruitment for childcare, coordination of needs and staffing, and other administrative tasks in consultation with the rector
In addition to this, there is room for a more qualified assignment where you serve as support to the department in areas such as:
investigations and decision-making documentation
quality assurance of processes and procedures
preparation of statistics and analyses
education-related issues based on needs
You will work closely with colleagues within the department and have contact with both guardians, facilities, and other functions in the municipality. Your workplace will be at the town hall in Storuman.

Qualifications
Relevant higher education, for example in public administration, pedagogy, law, or other education that the employer deems equivalent
Experience with administration in the public sector
Very good administrative skills and good experience with digital systems
Merits
Experience working in childcare or educational activities
Knowledge of current laws and regulations in the field
Experience preparing documentation for political decisions, such as service reports or investigations
Experience with investigation work, analysis, or operational development
Ability to produce and interpret statistics as a basis for decisions
Experience with environmental scanning and monitoring and implementing changes in legislation and policy documents in the field
