ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT
We are looking for someone to lead a silversmithing course for adults with varying experience levels, from beginners to more experienced participants.
The assignment involves planning and conducting the course, introducing techniques, tools, and materials, and creating a safe and inspiring learning environment. The assignment also includes administrative tasks such as planning and creating work plans according to adult education guidelines.
The role also includes facility management with a focus on order, functionality, and safety in the workshop. You will contribute to developing the facility, for example regarding tools, routines, and working methods.
WHOM ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Relevant Experience/Knowledge
You have strong knowledge of silversmithing and preferably experience leading courses, study circles, or other educational activities.
Experience with planning, work plans, and administration within adult education or similar activities is a merit, as is experience with relevant safety and facility matters.
We welcome applicants with different backgrounds, and for this assignment you need to be able to lead courses in Swedish.
Personal Qualities
You are pedagogical, responsible, attentive, and inspiring. You are also organized and interested in developing both the activities and the course environment.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
We invest in our instructors! You will receive a dedicated contact person and mandatory basic training in adult education pedagogy and conditions. You will receive regular invitations to various types of continuing education and instructor meetings where you have the opportunity to grow in your role. You will have great freedom to shape the assignment according to your circumstances and receive a fixed hourly wage.
START DATE
Start is preferably at the course launch in September, but we also welcome applications from those who can start somewhat later.
