Medborgarskolan is an educational association that organizes courses and creates meeting places for everyone seeking knowledge, development, and experiences! We are seeking an instructor in the following area:
PIANO
Students from age 9 - adults - seniors. Levels from beginner to intermediate. Teaching takes place primarily in study circle format.
Course sessions are scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays in the afternoons and evenings.
Courses run for approximately 10-12 weeks in MALMÖ starting in September. Employment is ongoing.

Medborgarskolan is looking for someone who wants to lead courses in the area mentioned above. Being a leader in our educational association means:
You are a self-driven and engaging instructor who is genuinely interested in the subject. At the same time, you are attentive to participants' interests and needs. Your creativity in the classroom and regarding the course offerings is of great importance! We conduct our courses with a focus on participants, and it is important that you are available in terms of time and location. Your teaching ability and your capacity to inspire confidence and security will be tested in various ways across different courses. You have the opportunity to influence our course offerings and may also lead courses in other subjects, even at advanced levels. Some administration is involved in the form of lesson plans and attendance records.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education with a focus on one of the areas mentioned above.
Previous teaching experience is desirable. Experience with music instruction in small groups is particularly valuable.
You should be self-driven, attentive, creative, engaged, and genuinely interested in your subject area. You should also be organized, as the work involves administration of attendance records and sometimes participant contact outside of course sessions.
Duration: Fixed-term
Start Date: September 2026
Work Hours: Part-time, scheduled hours. Hourly employment.
