Position Description Medborgarskolan is a study association that organizes courses and creates meeting places for everyone seeking knowledge, development, and experiences! We combine enjoyable learning environments with high standards of quality and expertise. Course Leader Needed in: PIANO Students from age 6 - adults - seniors. Levels from beginner to intermediate. Teaching takes place in small groups and study circle format. Course sessions are scheduled primarily on THURSDAY afternoons - evenings. Courses run approximately 10-12 weeks in HELSINGBORG starting in September. Employment is ongoing. Job Responsibilities: Medborgarskolan is looking for you to lead courses in the area mentioned above. Being a course leader in our study association means: You are a self-directed and engaging course leader who is genuinely interested in the subject. At the same time, you are attentive to participants' interests and needs. Your creativity in the classroom and regarding course offerings is very important! We conduct our course activities with a focus on participants, and it is important that you are available in terms of time and location. Your pedagogical skills and your ability to inspire confidence and security will be tested in various ways across different courses. You have the opportunity to influence our course offerings and may also lead courses in other subjects, even at advanced levels. Some administration is included in the form of lesson plans and attendance lists. Qualifications: We are looking for someone with post-secondary education with a focus on the area mentioned above. Previous teaching experience is desirable. Experience with music instruction in small groups is particularly valued. You should be self-directed, attentive, creative, engaged, and genuinely interested in your subject area. You should also be organized as the work involves administration of attendance lists and sometimes participant contact outside course sessions. Duration: Limited-term Start Date: September 2026 Work Hours: Part-time, scheduled hours. Hourly employment.
