Medborgarskolan in Kungsbacka is seeking a ceramics course instructor. We are looking for someone who wants to lead their own group and be part of a collaborative team around studio and kiln management. The courses are primarily aimed at adult beginners, with some intermediate students, and are conducted mainly in the evenings. Daytime and weekend courses may occur based on demand and availability. What does the role involve? As a course instructor, you will lead groups where participants develop at their own pace, from basic techniques to more independent creative work. You will: • Plan and conduct courses • Support participants at beginner and intermediate levels • Create a safe, welcoming, and inspiring learning environment • Work independently with your own groups and collaborate on shared routines • Contribute to the development of the studio We are looking for someone who: • Has strong knowledge of ceramics • Has practical experience with techniques, materials, and processes • Has the ability to teach others • Is confident, thorough, and engaged Formal training in ceramics is a merit but not required. What matters most is that you have solid subject knowledge, practical experience, and a willingness to share your expertise with curious beginners.
