WORK DUTIES We are looking for someone who wants to join our team of curators at our Social Medicine Clinic in Stenungsund, as one of our colleagues is leaving for another position. Work as a curator at a social medicine clinic aims to achieve change directed at adults with substance abuse issues and, when needed, their relatives who need support. The clinic also serves perpetrators of violence and victims of intimate partner violence who apply for treatment. As a curator, you conduct therapeutic conversations individually or in groups. The conversations are based on evidence-based methods such as ÅP, CRA, MI, CBT, and HAP. You work in a team with the clinic's nurse, your curator colleagues, and the adult unit's social workers. You also work with people who do not need or want healthcare contact and are referred by social workers solely for conversation-based treatment. The long-term goal is to strengthen each person's ability to live an independent life and better manage their substance abuse issues. In accordance with the new Social Services Act, you will also meet with people who come directly to the clinic without having a social services contact. Our work is characterized by confidence that people's abilities and goals can be developed and achieved with the right support at the right time. In addition to the support you and the team provide, people may also have rehabilitative activities, various social housing arrangements, and housing support. Your role includes maintaining good and close collaboration with other authorities when needed by participating in coordination meetings or otherwise cooperating for the best possible support for each person based on their needs and wishes. You will join a dedicated work group consisting of four curators and one nurse, all with extensive experience and expertise in working with substance abuse issues. A senior social worker leads and distributes work within the group and in the exercise of authority. The work group continuously develops through work on core values and quality and method development. QUALIFICATIONS We want you who are applying for the position at the social medicine clinic to have a degree as a social worker as a foundation and to have worked with substance abuse issues as a case manager or treatment provider. Since we work supportively with people living in violence-affected environments, we want you to have training and experience regarding intimate partner violence. Experience and training in evidence-based treatment methods and treatment work are merits. You are committed to your assignment, have a solution-focused approach, and you see the value of collaborating with others so that each person has access to the right support in their unique situation. Class B driver's license is required. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We warmly welcome your application! Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Start date according to agreement. We strive for a balanced gender distribution and see diversity as a strength, and therefore welcome applicants with different backgrounds.
