DUTIES We are looking for someone to join our curator team at our Social Medicine Clinic in Stenungsund, as one of our colleagues is leaving for another position. Work as a curator at the social medicine clinic aims to achieve change directed toward adults with substance abuse issues and, when needed, their relatives who require support. The clinic also serves perpetrators and victims of intimate partner violence who apply for treatment. As a curator, you conduct therapeutic conversations individually or in groups. The conversations are based on evidence-based methods such as ÅP, CRA, MI, CBT, and HAP. You work in a team with the clinic's nurse, your curator colleagues, and the adult unit's social workers. You also work with individuals who do not need or want healthcare contact and are referred by social workers solely for conversation therapy. The long-term goal is to strengthen each person's ability to live an independent life and better manage their substance abuse issues. Following the new Social Services Act, you will also meet individuals who contact the clinic directly without an existing social services connection. Our work is characterized by confidence that people's abilities and goals can develop and be achieved with the right support at the right time. Beyond the support you and the team provide, individuals may also have rehabilitative activities, various social living arrangements, and housing support. Your role includes maintaining good and close collaboration with other authorities when needed by participating in SIP or otherwise collaborating to provide the best possible support to each person based on their needs and wishes. You will be part of an engaged work group consisting of four curators and one nurse, all with extensive experience and expertise in working with substance abuse issues. A senior social worker leads and distributes work within the group and within the exercise of authority. The work group continuously develops through work with core values as well as quality and method development. QUALIFICATIONS We want applicants for the position at the social medicine clinic to have a degree in social work as a foundation and to have worked with substance abuse issues as a case worker or therapist. Since we work supportively with people living in violent environments, we want you to have education and experience regarding intimate partner violence. Experience and training in evidence-based treatment methods and treatment work are advantageous. You are committed to your assignment, have a solution-focused approach, and you see the value of collaborating with others so that each person receives access to the right support in their unique situation. B-class driver's license is required. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. We warmly welcome your application! Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Start date according to agreement. We strive for equal gender distribution and view diversity as a strength, and therefore welcome applicants with different backgrounds. In preparation for our recruitment process, we have made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore strongly decline contact from media sales representatives, recruitment websites, and similar parties. We use e-recruitment to streamline and ensure quality in our recruitment process.
