The department is organized into several regional operations based on different medical specialties. Our hospital locations are Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik. The Habilitation Regional Operation serves people with permanent functional limitations caused by congenital/acquired diseases and injuries to the central nervous system, developmental disorders, and people with autism spectrum disorder. Through our services, we aim to reduce the difficulties that functional limitations can create in daily life, create conditions for a good life, and promote participation in society. At the habilitation clinic in Örnsköldsvik, we have 23 employees, divided into two pediatric teams, one youth team, and one adult team. We are now seeking a coordinator for the adult team at the habilitation clinic in Örnsköldsvik for a permanent, full-time position with start date by agreement. Work Duties As a coordinator with us, you work according to the Health and Medical Care Act (HsL) and the Act on Support and Services for Certain Disabilities (LSS). We work from an interdisciplinary perspective where employees with medical, psychological, and social expertise collaborate. We see great advantages in teamwork where occupational therapists, physiotherapists, coordinators, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, nurses, and physicians work together. Good collaboration between professions is essential for quality work with patients and their families/networks. Your main duties are: Psychosocial conversations: supportive discussions regarding the consequences of functional limitations and crisis situations at different life stages. In your role, you contribute from your holistic perspective on social matters to support the person with functional limitations toward a functional adult life through information and counseling. You provide information and collaborate with authorities regarding work, employment, housing, and finances.
