Coordinator for Child Habilitation's ASD Team (Full-time) For you who want to work with complexity, relationships, and real change Do you want to work with children and young people with autism and their families – where your ability to create structure is essential? About the position The ASD Team works with children and young people with autism spectrum disorder and their networks. As a coordinator, you are a key person in addressing the family's psychosocial situation, their understanding of the diagnosis, and their everyday conditions. You work closely with families over time and provide both support, direction, and stability in often complex life situations. Main responsibilities • Psychosocial counseling support to children, young people, and guardians • Parental support related to autism, stress, burden, and interaction • Advice regarding social services, support measures, and collaboration • Collaboration with schools, LSS, social services, and other stakeholders • Active role in an interdisciplinary team with high specialist competence Qualifications (required) • Degree in social work • Experience working with children, young people, and families • Strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Meritorious qualifications • Experience working in habilitation or similar services • Knowledge of autism spectrum conditions • Experience collaborating with schools, LSS, and social services Personal qualities You are confident in conversations, have a good ability to build trust, and can work in a structured manner. You have good judgment and the ability to handle complex cases and long-term processes. For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area: - a background check will be applied before employment decision according to SLSO's guidelines for background checks at hiring. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination, according to current directives, which will be conducted through occupational health services before employment. - good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional credentials.
