Description Curator at Family Center - Early and Crime Prevention Initiatives We are now looking for a curator for our Family Center. Here you will have the opportunity to work early, close to children and families, and together with other professionals offer support without assistance decisions. Through a preventive and promotional approach, you contribute to strengthening children's living conditions, parents' abilities, and families' own resources. This work is an important part of the municipality's preventive and crime prevention efforts. By early identifying needs, strengthening protective factors, and offering support before problems grow larger, we can reduce the risk of later social disadvantage, norm-breaking behavior, and criminality. It is about being close to families early and creating conditions for safe living environments for children. The position also includes work within the Region's home visit program for first-time mothers and for people giving birth to their first child in Sweden. The aim is to identify children's and families' needs as early as possible and offer support and guidance. The work is conducted in close collaboration with our existing social worker at the Family Center. At the Family Center, maternal health care, child health care, open preschool, and preventive social services are co-located. The close collaboration between professionals creates good conditions for identifying needs early, offering the right support, and creating cohesive initiatives around the child and family. With us, you will have the opportunity to make a difference before problems have grown larger through early, accessible, and knowledge-based initiatives that strengthen children, families, and society's overall security. Responsibilities Through outreach activities, offer psychosocial support, motivational conversations, social training, and help creating structure in daily life. Support and guide custodians. Work preventively and promotionally at the individual and group level, for example through parent groups and educational and informational initiatives for other professionals. Qualifications A degree in social work or another university degree that the employer deems equivalent is required. Experience working with children and young people is meriting. We value experience working in teams, familiarity with meeting families in their home environment, and experience working directly with children and young people. You need to be able to build trusting relationships while also having the ability to recognize when a child or family needs additional support. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required. Since the work includes several administrative tasks, you need to have good computer skills and be able to express yourself in Swedish orally and in writing.
