About Us Our unit Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic (BUP) Kungshöjd is part of the Operations Area Neurology, Child Psychiatry within Area 1 of Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Our outpatient care mission is to assess and treat children and adolescents up to 18 years of age with moderate to severe mental health conditions. This requires both broad and deep expertise, and our work is conducted in a multidisciplinary manner together with psychologists, curators, psychiatric nurses, healthcare administrative secretaries, and physicians. At the BUP Kungshöjd clinic, we are approximately 25 employees who place great value on patient focus, professionalism, and one another. We work toward increased accessibility for our target group and maintaining a good work environment. We care about enjoying working together and support each other in daily work. We are located in nice facilities on Kungsgatan in central Gothenburg. Work Duties As a curator at BUP Kungshöjd, you will have the opportunity to work with systemic family therapy, attachment-based family therapy, psychoeducational interventions, conduct assessments, perform initial consultations, and collaborate between patients, relatives, and our partners. You function as consultative support to our colleagues in child and adolescent psychiatric matters. Our work is conducted in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines and our medical regional guidelines (RMR). We adapt methods and approaches based on the patient's needs and depending on the nature of the case. Work is conducted in close collaboration with other professions. We offer supervision. About You We are seeking someone who is educated as a social worker (socionom), and we would prefer that you have experience working with children and young people with mental health issues. We would appreciate it if you are a licensed healthcare curator or have some basic psychotherapy training (equivalent to level 1), but this is not required. We work in a multidisciplinary manner and in close collaboration with each other, so great importance will be placed on personal suitability. We value qualities such as good collaboration skills, a high degree of engagement and commitment to our target group, and the ability to work independently. We are looking for someone who wants to help continue developing our clinic with shared engagement and innovative thinking. You have an open mind with a good ability to evaluate your work and make adjustments when needed. You therefore possess a clear patient focus and value the important work with children's and young people's mental health.
