We are looking for a school counselor As a school counselor at Realgymnasiet, you work as part of student welfare based on school law and the school's preventive and health-promoting work. You work in close collaboration with teachers and the student welfare team to contribute to the best conditions for learning for our students. You meet with students, guardians, and staff, offering profession-specific expertise through conversations, support contacts, counseling, and guidance in the psychosocial field. You are a driving force in the school's student welfare work together with all your colleagues. From your broad perspective, you strive toward the common goal of achieving results for all students. Realgymnasiet currently has approximately 120 students, and this position is part-time. The school is in a development phase, and if you are the right person, you can grow together with the school and potentially increase your hours of work over time. We use probationary employment for our positions. Qualifications To be a suitable candidate for this position, we see that you have: Relevant education as a social worker, or an equivalent degree at university level that we find suitable for the position. Broad professional experience in social work and, of course, preferably previous experience as a school counselor in upper secondary school. It is meritorious to have further education in areas such as mental health, children and youth development, conversation methods, as well as experience in preventive and health-promoting support and early intervention.
