Here, students have the opportunity to develop in an environment where they are seen and where collaboration between students, staff, and guardians is a natural part of everyday life. The school has approximately 120 students, and qualified teachers work in all classes. As a school counselor, you will be an important part of the school's student welfare team, where you have the opportunity to work closely with students, guardians, and staff in activities where relationships, safety, and the student's best interests are central. Our vision is clear and simple: All children and young people will succeed in their education. The Assignment As a school counselor, you will work at Rådmansö School. The position is 30-40%, and you will be part of the schools' student welfare team. The assignment includes: Conduct health-promoting and preventive initiatives at the group level Participate in student welfare team work Provide support to guardians and staff Contribute psychological and social expertise to student welfare work Collaborate with internal and external partners Participate in the schools' work on safety, well-being, and equal treatment Document in the journal system Prorenata You will work closely with students, guardians, staff, and school leadership to contribute to a safe and supportive school environment. As a school counselor, you will be an important part of the student welfare team and have the opportunity to contribute to health-promoting, preventive, and intervention work. You collaborate closely with students, guardians, staff, and external partners and have the opportunity to help develop the schools' student welfare work. What You Need to Bring Requirements Social work degree or other education that the employer considers equivalent Strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing Ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues Experience with documentation Merits Previous experience as a school counselor Knowledge of student welfare work Experience working with children and young people Knowledge of social work and/or work within social services Experience with documentation in journal systems, for example Prorenata We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
