The Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care, elder care, and care for people with disabilities. About the workplace We are a large clinic and have over 7,000 visits per year. There are five curators and four midwives working at the clinic, as well as doctors who work part-time/week/month. The clinic is operated in collaboration between Huddinge Municipality and Region Stockholm. The clinic is HBTQi+ and disability-certified and has undergone training in racism and anti-racism. We work with young people aged 12-22 years. We work from a salutogenic holistic perspective to promote health and prevent physical, mental, and sexual illness. Young people should be given the conditions to make healthy lifestyle choices. The Youth Health Clinic is based on the young person's needs, regardless of gender, gender identity, ethnicity, religion/belief, disability, and sexual orientation. About the work As a curator, you will primarily work with individual counseling and support conversations, and couples and parent/youth conversations also occur. You will work in a team together with a midwife with young people who have genital pain. You work in close collaboration with other staff at the clinic and together with a midwife you conduct outreach work, receive school classes, smaller teaching groups, and visits to youth centers. We have evening hours until 18:30 on Tuesdays. We also have the opportunity to conduct group activities if needed, which would then be held in the evening. About you We are looking for you who are a social worker and have basic psychotherapy training (level 1). It is meriting if you have experience working at a youth health clinic or working with the target group, sexology training, or conducting conversation groups. The work requires that you are a responsive and engaged person with great respect and knowledge of young people's living conditions and have a norm-critical approach. You need to be confident working independently as well as finding it natural to work in a team. You are comfortable and enjoy standing in front of groups and working in an outreach manner.
