Curator with Seven-Hour Assignment

About the Position The position comprises 75% and is divided between curator duties (50%) and study and career counseling (25%). You will be an important part of the school's participant support and work closely with both participants and staff to create good conditions for learning, well-being, and future planning. Responsibilities As a curator, you will: Offer supportive and motivating conversations to participants. Work preventatively and promote participants' mental health and well-being. Provide support to participants in social matters and, when needed, collaborate with authorities and other external actors. Participate in student health work and contribute to the school's efforts in safety and inclusion. As a study and career counselor, you will: Guide participants toward further studies, work, and other future choices. Provide information about educational paths, qualifications, and the job market. Support participants in application processes for studies and work. Collaborate with teachers and other staff regarding participants' future planning. Contribute to the school's marketing efforts through idea exchange, planning, and development of communication together with other relevant parties. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Holds a degree in social work. Has experience in conversation support and psychosocial work. Has a genuine interest in supporting people in their development, studies, and future career choices. Enjoys guiding and motivating participants in decisions about further studies, work, and other future paths. Has a strong ability to build trusting relationships and collaborate with colleagues and external actors. Is independent, organized, and takes responsibility in your work. Shares the folk high school's values and view on people's opportunities for development and lifelong learning. Meritorious Experience working in folk high schools, adult education, or other educational activities. Knowledge of the education system and the different opportunities and paths available in the job market.
