We are now hiring a Customer Center Representative - Concrete for Sydsten in Malmö!
What does a Customer Center Representative do for us?
As a Customer Center Representative in our concrete business unit at Sydsten, you become part of a company with extensive expertise in concrete and aggregates. You report to the Customer Center Manager and will receive thorough onboarding in Sydsten's operations, providing good insight into ready-mix concrete production, concrete pumping, and our logistics before you take on clear individual responsibility.
You are the direct contact for Sydsten's customers in Scania – from order receipt and quotation to daily transport planning. You are an important link between the customer and the factories.
The role is broad and operational, and requires you to thrive with a fast pace, make independent decisions daily, and enjoy helping customers find the right solution.
Some of your key responsibilities:
Receive and administer customer orders
Provide quotes and guide customers in choosing the right product and service
Plan and coordinate daily transport and services
Maintain ongoing contact with customers, factories, drivers, and pump operators
Contribute to improving shared routines and working methods
Who are you?
We believe you have a background in the construction industry or related sectors, perhaps from building supply, prefab, steel, or glass, or other relevant experience that allows you to understand our customers. You need to be service-oriented, structured, and comfortable taking responsibility in a changing daily environment.
Most importantly, you enjoy customer contact, are experienced with business systems, and contribute to the team with an unpretentious and solution-oriented attitude.
We believe you:
Have experience in customer service, inside sales, or order reception
Have a background in the construction industry or related sectors – a requirement to understand the business
Are self-driven and enjoy making independent decisions in your daily work
Have good system proficiency and are quick to learn and interested in learning new digital tools
Communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Experience in transport management and logistics coordination is a merit. Ability to communicate at a basic level in English both verbally and in writing is a requirement, and a category B driver's license is a plus.
