The Rēzekne Municipality Public Institution "Culture and Tourism Administration" (Reg. No. 40900040015) announces an open competition for a vacant Cultural Events Organizer position (in the structural unit "Lūznava Parish Cultural Center"; 0.5 work load for an indefinite period)

Position candidates must meet the following requirements:
preferred higher or secondary special education in the field of culture;
ability to develop, prepare, and conduct cultural events;
ability to plan work according to set goals, priorities, and the established budget;
skills in using information technologies for performing job duties;
valid electronic signature (eID or eParaksts mobile).
Main duties of the Cultural Events Organizer (in the structural unit "Lūznava Parish Cultural Center"):
develop creative projects related to the field of culture;
when organizing events, collaborate within possible limits with other municipal cultural institutions and their artistic amateur activity groups;
analyze public interests and needs in the field of culture, evaluate priorities;
plan cultural center events in accordance with state-level, regional, and municipal cultural event plans;
plan cultural center events in accordance with state-level, regional, and municipal cultural event plans;
promote your cultural institution, associations, and municipality throughout the country;
ensure the economic operations of the cultural center – maintain records of available inventory, costumes, and other material assets, preserve them, procure new costumes, economic materials, and inventory within budget limits.
Base salary: 499.00 EUR during the trial period. After the trial period – according to evaluation.

The competition is organized in two rounds. In the first round, the competition commission evaluates the documents submitted by position candidates and their compliance with qualification requirements. Those position candidates whose submitted documents meet the requirements set out in the competition regulations are invited to the second round – a job interview.
