Jēkabpils Municipality Culture Department (registration number 40900009295) announces an open competition for the position of Cultural Events Organizer at Sala Community Center (permanent position) Key Job Responsibilities: 1. Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage cultural events and projects (celebrations, concerts, exhibitions, festivals, commemorative and public events) at Sala Community Center, working in cooperation with Jēkabpils Municipality Culture Department, other cultural institutions, municipal agencies, and non-governmental organizations; 2. Develop event plans, scenarios, and ensure their successful implementation; 3. Ensure cooperation with concert, performance, and other event organizers or producers; 4. Prepare event budgets and monitor the use of allocated financial resources for these purposes; 5. Ensure planning, development, and implementation of promotional campaigns for Sala Community Center events on social and digital platforms; 6. Ensure compliance with copyright requirements at events and timely submission of reports to copyright agencies. Requirements for Candidates: 1. Higher or professional secondary education in cultural management, event organization, humanities, or a related field; 2. Relevant work experience matching the job duties; 3. Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills; 4. Ability to set priorities, organize, and plan work; 5. Conceptual thinking, positive attitude toward innovation, creativity, and self-initiative; 6. Orientation toward professional development and achievement of results; 7.
