Preiļu Regional Culture and Tourism Administration is extending the application deadline for an open competition for the position of Cultural Methodologist and Events Organizer at Preiļu Regional Culture House (profession code 3435 19) Key job responsibilities: Coordinate the work of amateur groups, participate in the development and implementation of amateur group projects. Coordinate methodological work of Preiļu Regional Culture Houses and Culture House. Plan, coordinate, and organize cultural events and ensure their implementation, working with various groups of residents with different interests. Develop and implement artistic content ideas for events, timelines, budget planning and its accurate execution, attracting partner organizations and funding, coordinating and ensuring successful event implementation, as well as post-event evaluation and preparation of necessary reports. Compile and prepare necessary data about organized events for reporting purposes. Participate in the Culture House's annual event plan development. Participate in planning cultural event activities organized in Preiļu Region and ensure the plan's successful and timely implementation. Ensure cooperation with cultural workers in Preiļu Region parishes. Organize cooperation with performers and performer groups. Participate in creative projects related to culture. Provide methodological assistance in developing cultural programs for municipal institutions. Provide reports to the Copyright and Communication Consultation Agency / Latvian Authors' Union (AKKA/LAA). Perform other individual tasks assigned by the Culture House Director's order within the scope of competence. Requirements for candidates: Higher or secondary professional education in cultural management, cultural administration, or a culture-related field. Desirable work experience in culture, cultural event planning and implementation, or similar organizational, methodological, or educational work. Skills in financial planning and budget execution. Knowledge of the state language at the highest level in accordance with the State Language Law requirements. Excellent communication and public speaking skills, accuracy, and responsibility for completing assigned duties. Very good computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint software. Ability to organize own work, work in a team, and take responsibility. Impeccable reputation.
