Key job responsibilities: coordinate the activities of municipal cultural institutions and implementation of cultural events in the municipality; participate in the development and implementation of cultural policy, development plans, and cultural event concepts; foster cooperation with cultural institutions, associations, state institutions, and other partners; coordinate the municipality's cultural events calendar and ensure information flow about cultural activities; prepare budget proposals, monitor the use of allocated funds for culture, and review invoices; develop regulatory acts and other documents related to the culture sector; provide methodological and organizational support to cultural institutions and consult on culture sector matters. Key requirements for candidates: higher education supplemented with knowledge in the field of culture management; work experience in culture management; excellent knowledge of Latvian language; analytical thinking, precision, and high sense of responsibility; knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with regulatory acts related to the field of activity; ability to prepare documents in compliance with document management requirements.
