About the Job As a crown bailiff, you work primarily with investigating assets and making decisions about appropriate enforcement measures. You have an impartial role and help those seeking payment while providing support and advice to those required to pay. You begin your employment as an aspirant and undergo internal training where practical experience alternates with theory over approximately one year. The training includes, among other things, law, customer service, and communication techniques. The work tasks vary in scope and complexity. The cases you handle require speed and efficiency while maintaining quality. Based on laws and regulations, you assess the documentation and make decisions. You work both at the office and in the field, where you investigate debtors' assets and execute evictions, for example. Everyone at the Enforcement Authority contributes to combating crime. Your work includes identifying and preventing attempted criminal activity and reporting suspected crimes to other authorities. As a crown bailiff, you might, for example, discover various types of criminal activity while conducting enforcement actions and participating in collaborative efforts with other agencies. This can result in helping to stop money laundering and prevent organized crime. The position is based at the office in Luleå. Your Qualifications: - 2 years of current employment as a case officer in an enforcement section at the Enforcement Authority and demonstrated very strong ability to independently analyze and handle complex work tasks - Driver's license for manual transmission vehicles - Strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing About Us The Enforcement Authority is a government agency with an important mission. Good to Know The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as a Crown Bailiff Aspirant. The Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer. Working for the government means you follow the government's core values. Special requirements are also placed on judgment, security awareness, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during interviews about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked to references. We also obtain information about debts registered with the Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business prohibitions. Obtained information is weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the position. Employment with us may involve placement in a security clearance level. A security clearance with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision.
