ABOUT THE ROLE We are now seeking female personal assistants for an 8-year-old girl living just outside Karlstad. She has extensive care needs and receives support from assistants around the clock. The girl loves everything that glitters, and makeup and hairstyling are close to her heart. She also enjoys going on small outings and doing fun activities outside the home. The girl's verbal communication is very limited, which means it's important that you get to know her well in order to interpret and understand her needs and expressions. She uses a Permobil to move around. As an assistant, you provide support throughout her entire day, from personal care and medical procedures to play, activities, and creating a safe, stimulating environment. Experience with tracheostomy and PEG is a merit but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you get along well together and that you can meet her with warmth and security. The workplace is located outside Karlstad with limited public transportation connections, which means a driver's license and access to a car are requirements. WORKING HOURS AND EMPLOYMENT LEVEL Work shifts are scheduled as follows: Weekdays: 07:00–15:00, 15:00–22:00, 22:00–07:00 (awake night) Weekends: 07:00–19:00, 19:00–07:00 (awake night) We are seeking several assistants with different employment levels, ranging from extra as needed to permanent scheduling at approximately 50–80%. SALARY At Vivida, as an assistant you receive a fixed hourly base salary + vacation pay and any applicable shift premiums. Collective agreement applies.
