About the Position As a Power System Specialist, you'll ensure that Svenska kraftnät maintains balanced requirements for customers connecting to the electric system. You'll consolidate and evaluate the requirements framework linked to grid codes such as RfG, HVDC, and DCC. The role also includes communicating and justifying requirements, and leading both strategic and operational work forward in Sweden, the Nordic region, and Europe. You'll work at the intersection of technology, law, and public benefit, and drive development within new regulations. An important part of the role is also taking a coordinating responsibility toward internal experts. With us, you'll work in a role where you help shape the electric system of the future. The role offers significant development opportunities both in terms of knowledge about the electric system and European regulations (grid codes) as well as leadership. You'll also build a broad network, both internally and externally. The role will be shaped largely according to your competence and experience. You'll be part of the Connection Requirements unit, which currently consists of nine employees with a mixed age and gender distribution. The unit's responsibility is to ensure a comprehensive requirements framework for the capabilities that must be met by generation and consumption facilities and distribution systems when connecting to the electric system or modernizing already connected facilities. The purpose of Svenska kraftnät's requirements is to maintain operational security in the Swedish electric system, while also being functional, well-justified, and socioeconomically efficient. We have a clearly coordinating role, which means contact points within the division and with other divisions at Svenska kraftnät. Education: You have a relevant engineering degree in electrical power, energy systems, control engineering, or technical physics, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät considers equivalent. You also have: - at least three years of relevant work experience in areas such as power system analysis or technical project management - good knowledge of the power system and its functions - good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Merits: - Experience working with grid codes RfG, DCC, HVDC, SOGL, or ER - Experience working with power system operations - Experience with commissioning of power generation facilities or commissioning of larger consumption facilities - Experience with converter-connected generation and consumption facilities.
