JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher in the after-school program, your main task is to plan and implement activities at the after-school center. Planning, implementation, and evaluation are based on the goals in our shared curriculum, Lgr-22, and values-based work permeates the activities both at school and in the after-school program. During school hours, you work together with teachers based on your shared work area. As a teacher in the after-school program with us, you will be part of a work team where you, together with colleagues, contribute to the school's development, and where we together strive to develop ourselves and reach the set goals. You vary your teaching and adapt to the group so that all students learn and develop based on their needs and circumstances. Working as a teacher in the after-school program is about constantly developing and improving the activities based on the students we meet. You should have good pedagogical competence and be well familiar with primary school and after-school program governing documents. As a pedagog in the after-school program, you implement teaching in the after-school program based on the planning you participated in developing, in accordance with our governing documents. You contribute to systematic quality work in the after-school program. You participate in the work team based on your role as a pedagog in the after-school program. You are active in informing and conducting dialogue with students' guardians. Mentoring of students in work experience placements may be included. You vary your teaching and adapt to the group so that all students learn and develop based on their needs and circumstances. Working as a pedagog in the after-school program is about constantly developing and improving the activities based on the students we meet. As a pedagog in the after-school program, you have a pedagogical education at the post-secondary level or equivalent that the employer deems equivalent. For example, you may have a childcare worker education, student assistant education, youth leader education, or other pedagogical education, such as health pedagog, social pedagog, or similar. For this role, you are present with clarity in communication, goals, and results. You have qualities that include both structure and creativity, and you are clear with students, parents, and colleagues. It is important that you feel secure in your professional role.
