1 position(s). Would you like to take on a coordinating role where you contribute to ensuring that the social services' placements maintain high quality and are used responsibly? As a coordinator within individual and family care, you will become an important link between the social services, external care providers, and several other functions. By creating structure, following up on agreements, and developing working methods, you contribute to lawful and efficient management of the municipality's out-of-home placements. YOUR ROLE As a coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating and developing work around the municipality's external placements. You work with agreements, follow-up, quality, and collaboration between the social services and external care providers with placements for children, youth, and adults. You coordinate work between social workers, managers, controllers, economists, procurement specialists, support functions, and external care providers to ensure that agreements are followed in a quality-assured and cost-effective manner. You are responsible for developing and updating follow-up procedures, reviewing agreements and invoices, and monitoring costs to contribute to efficient use of the municipality's resources. You also ensure that notice periods and contract terms are followed and that documentation maintains high quality. The assignment also includes work with procurement, renegotiations, and potential disputes, as well as disseminating knowledge about guidelines and working methods. YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE We are looking for you who have higher education relevant to the assignment, for example as a social worker, economist, procurement specialist, HR specialist, or sociologist. You have experience working in a coordinating role where you have planned, structured, and followed up on processes together with several different parties. You also have good administrative ability and are accustomed to working in different digital systems, managing documentation, and following processes and procedures. You see opportunities to develop working methods and are happy to contribute to making processes simpler, safer, and clearer. You communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and find it easy to build good relationships. You are confident in contacting people, coordinating different interests, and formulating clear documentation and agreements based on existing templates. It is meritorious if you have experience from the social services or have worked with placements, procurement, or agreement follow-up. Experience with financial work, such as invoice handling, budgeting, or follow-up, is also an advantage. To thrive in the role, you need to enjoy creating structure and driving work forward. You work methodically, manage several processes simultaneously, and ensure that tasks are completed. When issues are complex, you can analyze information and see connections between different factors. You collaborate without pretense with many different functions, build trusting relationships, and feel confident in your role. YOUR NEW WORKPLACE At individual and family care, we work to improve people's life situations. We provide support, protection, and guidance, always with respect for the individual's responsibility and integrity. Here you meet colleagues who, with courage, care, and collaboration, make a real difference for children, youth, and adults in Skellefteå. As a placement coordinator, you will become part of individual and family care at the social office. You will collaborate closely with several different activities and functions within the municipality, which gives you broad insight into the social services' work and great opportunities to influence how our processes develop. With us, collaboration, knowledge exchange, and commitment are valued. You get an assignment where you contribute to developing working methods that strengthen the quality of the operation and create good conditions for both colleagues and the people we exist to serve. GOOD TO KNOW We recruit based on competence and focus on your experience, knowledge, and potential. Instead of a cover letter, you answer a few selection questions and attach an updated CV. Selection begins after the final application date of August 23. Candidates who proceed in the process are invited to tests and interviews. We provide feedback to all applicants within one week after the final application date.
