This sector has approximately 300 employees working in areas related to quality of life, attractiveness, and employment. The sector also has overall responsibility for supporting and monitoring the municipality's public health efforts, children and youth policy work, diversity and integration work, civil society organizations, and coordination of the municipality's international efforts. We offer you a varied position and a fun workplace with engaged colleagues and operations that are constantly moving forward. Work takes place mainly during daytime, but also during afternoons, evenings, and weekends. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES ESA aims to create a space between after-school care and youth centers that offers, in addition to activities, snacks and homework help. ESA aims to create a welcoming environment without attendance requirements that offers free activities. Important partners include RF-Sisu, the Swedish Church, the Red Cross, and other civil society organizations. The coordinator's role is both strategic and operational, working with children in grades 4-6 residing in the Södra Ryd area. The focus is primarily on children and young people who are not involved in organized associations and children with weak school results. Skövde Municipality has an overarching goal of reducing segregation and creating equal conditions for growth and living with good life prospects for everyone. Södra Ryd is the only area in Skövde Municipality that RF-Sisu classifies as sports-weak, and there is a significant lack of organized adult presence after school. A success factor within ESA is that children and young people participate in designing and implementing the program, and the entire program is based on their interests and wishes. An important component is also an initiative to develop young leaders from the area in order to create role models for younger children and development opportunities for the young leaders. Skövde Municipality hopes that the working model can also be applied to other areas in Skövde. QUALIFICATIONS You should have documented competence as an after-school care teacher or equivalent. You should have a higher education degree that the employer deems relevant and/or have equivalent experience. You are also expected to have experience in process management. To succeed in this role, you must have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and multilingualism is a merit. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of current research in the areas of public health, integration and community work, experience in association development, and education as a leisure-time pedagogue or similar.
