Job Responsibilities: Represents the assigned customer in the area of quality and cooperates in the transfer of customer requirements into business processes. Samples incoming materials, approves suppliers for the assigned customer. Cooperates with production and technical departments. Manages the process of supplier and customer complaints, processes 8D reports, initiates and approves corrective actions. Performs incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection of materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods. Manages and isolates non-conforming materials/products. Is authorized to halt production and shipment due to the manufacture of non-conforming products. Suggests improvements to processes, operations, and procedures.
