Do you want to work with operations and monitoring of our production facilities? Your role is varied and broad, where you work with everything from control room operations and operational optimization to electricity production nomination as well as rounds at our facilities. Right now we are looking for two control room engineers/operations technicians for the Heat and Cooling business area, one for daytime work and one for shift work. Your Role With us, you will work with operations and monitoring of our production facilities for district heating, district cooling and electricity production. You share responsibility for daily production optimization. In this role, you will gain excellent knowledge of facilities ranging from combined heat and power plants to smaller boilers throughout the district heating network. You will work with optimization and operations of our production systems as well as with nomination of electricity production. For the shift-based role, you work in pairs with a colleague in shift teams, while in the daytime role you work more independently, in close collaboration with the rest of the organization. Development is progressing rapidly at Mölndal Energi as we expand our facilities and continuously improve existing systems. You will be part of our on-call organization and report to the Operations Manager. Who Are You Since we work in shift teams of two people, it is important that you are responsible, self-directed and organized. You enjoy both monitoring, conducting rounds and tackling problems that arise during your shift. Both theoretically and practically. We believe you can handle sudden disruptions but also detect them before they occur. You likely have: Operations training from a technical university or equivalent education. Experience with district heating/district cooling or similar processes. Experience with control systems such as 800xA or similar. Good IT maturity and familiarity with digital tools and working methods. Experience with solid fuel combustion is a merit. Class B driver's license.
