JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for an inspector for our control team. In the department, we handle applications and payments for several EU funds, and through our work, we ensure that the right measures receive financing and contribute to sustainable development of Sweden's countryside and agricultural sector. The Monitoring and Control Unit consists of 16 people divided into two teams. You would be part of the control team, which performs site inspections both before and after payment. The team is primarily responsible for EU support for project and investment support within the strategic plan, leader, market support, school program, and marine, fisheries, and aquaculture program. The monitoring team works with target management, forecasts, reporting, quality assurance of leading areas, payment control, license management, risk analysis, and selection, among other things. As an inspector, you will: · Conduct inspections on-site before and after EU support payments throughout Sweden year-round · Independently be responsible for planning inspection trips, conducting, documenting, and reporting inspections · Conduct risk assessments for field inspections · Make assessments based on procedures, guidelines, and legislation · Have contact with support recipients and case handlers at support authorities · Review accounting, invoices, documentation, and reports This means you need to be flexible, have good social skills, be clear, and have the ability to familiarize yourself with several different areas and regulations. Good treatment and customer contact are important because as an inspector you represent the Swedish Board of Agriculture externally. In the role of inspector, you work in a team with other inspectors. Within the control team, assessments, interpretations of regulations, and decisions are discussed. Within the control team, the distribution of inspection trips is administered and planned based on regulation-driven deadlines and geographic location. QUALIFICATIONS For this position, we require • Academic education in, for example, economics, accounting, agronomy, or social sciences, or alternatively you have acquired equivalent competence that we consider equivalent • Very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing • Class B driver's license It is advantageous if you have: • Experience with field work in the form of inspection or supervision • Experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping • Experience handling EU support Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement. Working hours: Daytime.
