About the Role
Do you want to become an important part of the energy transition? Vattenfall Services is Sweden's leading contracting company in the energy and power sector and we develop Sweden's energy infrastructure! We need more energy heroes and we are now looking for control systems engineers with experience from railway/overhead line operations who want to become part of our skilled technical team! As a control systems engineer, you work closely with the operation of critical installations within railway and power. In the Business Area Technology, you become part of a network of expertise with approximately 190 engineers across the country. Here you get the opportunity to develop, share knowledge, and work with cutting-edge technology.
In this role, you will work with installations from 0.4 kV up to 400 kV, with a special focus on overhead line operations. Travel is a natural part of the position, primarily during the day but with some overnight stays.
Your main responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and adjustment of relay and control equipment
Testing and verification of control installations
Work with remote control systems and station equipment
Commissioning and configuration of installations
Minor design modifications in connection with commissioning
Requirements
We are looking for you who want to contribute to safe and reliable systems. You enjoy solving problems and technical challenges, working in a structured manner, and collaborating with colleagues and customers.
We know you will develop together with us. But we would like to see that you already have:
Post-secondary education in electrical power
Experience working with electrical power installations
Experience working with control installations and/or testing
Experience from railway or overhead line operations
Good computer skills
Class B driver's license
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
It is meritorious if you also have:
Experience with IEC 61850
Experience independently carrying out design modifications
