Description:

Jakobi Sustainability AB offers high-quality consulting services in nature and environmental management to privately-owned companies and public sector clients. Our assignments range from biodiversity surveys, permitting processes, and consultations to support during construction and implementation phases. We work closely with our clients on projects where environmental considerations are critical—legally, ecologically, and practically. We are a growing company that is well-established in the industry. Our team size varies slightly with the seasons; we currently have approximately 18 employees. Our headquarters is located in Gothenburg, and we have offices in Uppsala, Kalmar, Jönköping, Luleå, and Malå. About Us We are values-driven organization. Our vision is high biodiversity, resilient ecosystems, and a fossil-free society. We believe in finding your passion, driving development, sharing knowledge, being solution-focused, and creating a strong sense of community. We want to work in an environment where we support and inspire each other. We are in a growth phase and are building the business together. In addition to our existing service areas, we are also launching new divisions in contaminated land assessment and baseline biodiversity surveys. We operate in sectors including energy, infrastructure, industry, and municipal planning. About the Position The focus of this role is sales and production management as well as leadership. You have personnel and budget responsibility and are part of the management team. You report directly to our CEO, Marie Jakobi. Currently, your team consists of 5 consultants in Uppsala and Kalmar respectively. You are expected to take an active role in developing these offices so that we become even more attractive and achieve our growth targets. Your focus is being a present manager who leads and develops the team, but you will also spend part of your time working as a consultant on assignments within your own area of expertise. Client relations, proposal writing, and project execution and quality assurance are also part of the role. Traveling throughout Sweden by train (including overnight trains), bus, or car will be part of the position. In line with our travel policy, we avoid flying. Your Experience Most likely, you have several years of experience working as a consultant in a sales role within one of our service areas. It is a merit if you have previous experience with personnel responsibility. It is important that you enjoy collaborating with people and that you like relationship-based sales. It is a merit if you have an extensive network. We would like to see that you have a post-secondary education in biology, environmental science, ecology, contaminated land assessment, or an engineering degree in environment and sustainability. Competencies As a person, you are unpretentious, solution-focused, communicative, and passionate about delivering good results according to set goals. You have an established contact network and enjoy social settings. You are equally brilliant in a sales meeting as you are a good listener with your colleagues. You enjoy building and holding teams together. You are proactive, clear, structured, and responsive. We expect you to have a strong ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. It is a requirement that you master Swedish at a very high written level, as our customers have these requirements for our deliverables. You also need to master English, as some projects involve project meetings in English. What We Offer You A pleasant workplace with high scores in our employee surveys, and we prioritize a good work environment. We value diversity because we know it enriches our business and leads to greater creativity and job satisfaction. Our goal is for everyone to feel included and involved.
