Staff Member for Secure Housing and Support Services Would you like meaningful, varied, and practical work where you have the opportunity to make a difference for people in vulnerable life situations? Then this position might be for you. About Us We operate secure housing and support housing and work with individuals who need support, safety, and structure in their daily lives. We work with people leaving criminal environments, those needing support after vulnerable situations, as well as children and adults placed in secure housing. Our clients have different needs, which makes the work varied and requires a flexible and professional approach. About the Position The position is primarily based on daytime hours, but evening work may occur as needed, for example when picking up or dropping off clients. You are responsible for your own clients and support them throughout their placement. The work is largely practical and everyday-focused and may include: Working according to the social services' care plan, which may involve: accompanying clients to the bank, government offices, healthcare, and other appointments helping the placed individual establish themselves in a new location, search for their own apartment, etc. supporting contact and communication with authorities and other actors providing support before or during various conversations picking up and dropping off clients planning and contributing to meaningful leisure activities providing support and structure in daily life cooperating with colleagues and other professionals documenting and keeping records regarding the client's support and development Because our housing facilities and apartments are located in different places, the position involves some driving. You therefore need to have a Class B driver's license and feel comfortable driving a car for work purposes. We Are Looking for You Who have experience with similar work within, for example, social services, secure housing, support housing, or treatment services have relevant education in social work, treatment work, pedagogy, or equivalent have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing can document in a structured and professional manner are trustworthy, calm, and stable even in demanding situations can work independently but also collaborate with colleagues are flexible, solution-oriented, and take responsibility have an easy time building trust and professional relationships Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
