Do you want to work with industrial automation, PLC, and robotics on an investment project in a senior consulting role? We are seeking an experienced consultant in industrial automation for a well-established industrial company in Örebro county. You have experience with investment projects from feasibility studies and concepts through implementation, commissioning, SOP, and successful delivery. You are accustomed to taking technical responsibility in automation, system architecture, PLC/Safety PLC, SCADA/OT, and system integration, as well as defining requirements, conducting Design Reviews, evaluating suppliers, and making technical decisions. You work closely with production, project teams, and external suppliers, and drive solutions through FAT/SAT to a robust and reliable delivery. The assignment starts immediately and runs for at least six months initially. The role offers a varied day-to-day with many contact points where you collaborate with project managers, technical specialists, and suppliers. The assignment is a consulting engagement with placement at our customer in the manufacturing industry, just outside Örebro. Work takes place on-site in production and in a project environment. You are either employed by TNG during the assignment period or enter as a sub-consultant through TNG. Your responsibilities Participate in and drive automation-related parts of investment projects Participate in technical discussions regarding robotics, PLC systems, control systems, and integrations Evaluate supplier solutions in industrial automation Ensure that automation solutions meet the company's technical requirements Participate in technical discussions regarding PLC systems, control systems, and integrations Collaborate with project managers, production, technical teams, and external suppliers Contribute technical advice and risk assessments Follow up on implementation and quality assurance of automation solutions Good to know The assignment is a consulting engagement with placement at a customer just outside Örebro. We are looking for you who are available for assignments immediately and enjoy working on-site at the customer. You have good Swedish language skills, a class B driver's license, and access to a car are requirements. Our expectations We are looking for someone with several years of experience in industrial automation and who has previously worked on investment projects in industry or production. You have strong knowledge of PLC systems and robotics, as well as experience evaluating technical solutions and suppliers. As a person, you are organized, communicative, and confident in dialogue with both internal and external stakeholders. You are used to taking responsibility, driving issues forward, and contributing a solution-oriented perspective even in technically complex contexts. You have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new projects and build trust through your competence and experience. Interested?
