Consulting Unit Manager, Field Installation

Your role as Consulting Unit Manager, Field Installation We are seeking a Consulting Unit Manager for one of our units within the Strategic Networks business area, based in Arboga or Växjö. The unit consists of approximately 20 employees who handle assembly and installation of communication equipment nationwide for our assignments with the Swedish Armed Forces and FMV. You will be part of the management team for the result unit and help develop the business together with other managers. As a manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations within the framework of budget and goals, as well as for the group's and employees' development. You have personnel responsibility, which includes the group's and individual's competence development, employee conversations, and salary setting. Since employees work in the field during the weeks, there is also an expectation that the manager role is operational and supportive where needed, which means travel is frequent. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is driven by leading people and developing businesses in close collaboration with employees and customers. Previous experience with installation work in telecommunications and a leadership or coordinating role is desirable. We also believe that you have a genuine technical interest. Experience within telecommunications, transmission, or network technology is desirable. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement for the position. As a person, you are naturally outgoing, with great commitment, and you have an easy time creating good relationships with both employees and customers. You have the ability to motivate others, create structure, and drive development forward. You thrive in a role where you can combine leadership with operational work and contribute to creating a business that develops and grows together with both employees and customers. Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and be approved for a security clearance with background check. Selection is ongoing.
